OUR STORY

THE DESIGNER

The challenge is for my work to be sustainable,
unique, and hand-crafted. Perfectly imperfect.
I aim to create something with a feminine touch
and a bold edge to your bag rotation.

The artisan purses are unique items produced by
my hands, not a machine. I dedicate an incredible amount of time to each detail, from selecting the materials to the creative process, while utilizing as many vintage and upcycled goods as possible.

I hope my work is received in the spirit of originality
and fun – a result of my passion for creating objects
and experimentation. I love making
these one-of-a-kind purses in small batches—
conscious design with limited runs."

The very first artisan clutch Beth created.

HOW DID WE GET HERE?

In 2009, while living in downtown Nashville,
Beth created a purse by sewing two
vintage buttons to an art canvas.

She folded the bag and stitched the sides.
There was no clasp or magnet to hold it closed and no lining on the inside—just a raw, accidental, and explorative moment.

She carried the clutch to a few events, which
sparked great interest in her immediate creative
and fashionable village.

Thus, what is now known as the "artisan clutches" was born. To this day, it has fueled her creative journey with unique and one-of-a-kind handbags.
